Brief

The potential of this space will provide Deptford with a place of self-sufficiency within the community. This project aims to develop and provoke activity and knowledge through the production of food, the growing of crops, the preparation and cooking process as well as a restaurant experience. By bringing the primary production process into the city through the use of vertical planting, a new perspective of farming is created on a local, urban scale. The output of food to be served in the building's restaurant should create a sense of pride and a local buzz with the outcome of the project on the community stimulating creativity and potential, to open a wider mind set in the people that encourages fresh thinking and enthusiasm. Through interaction of the local community, the building will serve to educate its users and provide a basis of sustainability with its continuous cycle, feeding society and feeding into society.

TRADING

I aimed to sell my copper bangles through health shops due to the copper's healing properties. There was interest in the bangles from naturally inspired shop Culpepper; enthusiam towards original product and suggestion to try to sell them privately. I have had interest from friends and potential sales and will continue to aim trading at this market.
