The central hall of the building, used for housing the tanks that contain the fermentation process is large and adaptable to suit the dynamic nature of industry, however in its current configuration contains no machinery. Part of the brief is to open up the building to the public- to communicate the function of industry within the city and the building itself, the large open spaces of the main hall can be utilised for functions, rented, or be used in conjunction with the other community centres close by.
